Register New Beneficiary Related

Why do I still cannot register new beneficiary after registered mobile security token?
Please ensure that the mobile security token is properly bound to your device and is activated. After registration or re-registration of Mobile Security Token, you are required to call our Customer Service Hotline (852) 2818 0282 or visit our branches to verify identity in order to activate the token.
Any notification received after the new beneficiary is successfully registered?
After successful register new beneficiary, you will receive a SMS and email notification to confirm the registration has been approved.
When will the newly registered beneficiary become effective?
The newly registered beneficiary will become effective after 24 hours. You can check the status of beneficiary type in "Transfer & Pay" > "Transfer / Remittance" > "Manage My Payee List" and the status will change from "Processing" to "Registered" once effective.
What types of beneficiary could I registered?

The service is applicable to the following types of transaction:

 
  • Transfer Within Our Bank
  • Transfer To Other Local Bank (FPS & CHATS)
  • Remit To Overseas (T/T)
  • Purchase Demand Draft
  • Purchase Cashier's Order
What are the service hours for registering new beneficiary?
Basically, you can use this service at any time, but the Bank system will be updated between 7:30 and 8:00 every night, and the service may be temporarily unavailable, please use the service outside of this period.
